New Week, New Family : The Hagensens

Hey guys, it's me (Beth) posting today because I'd like to introduce today's family since I know them personally. We met John and Brittany while in Ethiopia on our court trip fro Jude. They were also going to meet their 11 year old son, Bek. Then Brandon (my hubs) went back to get Jude while John (the Hagensen hubs) went to get Bek, so it was a totally bachelor week. I'm sure a movie could have been made about it. I never want to know all the details!

Anyway, let me tell you a little about these guys. They are wide open to God's will for their family, even when it looks different from most. They are fearless and bold, fun and down to earth. Right now they are about to go pick up Sha, Bek's best friend from his childhood and another child on the Waiting Child List. That story is amazing! When Bek came home they were searching the waiting child list so that Bek could show who his friends were. When they came to Sha he freaked out saying "I love him!". Their mothers were best friends in their village and they were essentially raised closely together. It didn't take long for the Hagensens to say yes to this guy too. They have already made their court date and should be bringing Sha home in the next few weeks!
