New Africa Family of the Week

Happy Easter, everybody! I hope you're having a wonderful one!

Let me introduce you to the new family of the week, shall I? Say hi to the Woods.

They've been down this road before, and know the blessings and challenges adoption presents. A major challenge being a financial one. But that's what we're here for, right? Take a second to watch their video and become part of their babies' story.

You can follow their story as it plays out over here on their blog. And please do donate right here. Two MORE babies, y'all!

So far $3525 has been donated to the Woods adoption of the cutest hand and foot ever (and their owners). They'll be traveling this month so soon we'll be able to put faces to those tootsies!

  1. It's been a privilege to contribute to adoption costs for families I will never meet via this web site but this week I DO know the Woods. Love, love this family and the craziness that comes with parenting soon to be 6 kids. Read their blog and please donate. Brian is currently in the DRC meeting his little girls for the first time and it would be nice if he didn't have to swim home :-) And, if you need to laugh, read this fabulous blog post. Funniest blog post ever by Carrie! Or is it just funny because it refers to my car. Enjoy and donate!

This is the most incredible family. I have known the Woods for years; since well before Grace. They give their lives to children. This is the best cause! This is an incredible family. They do so much and ask for so little!

  3. I'm so privileded to know this family in real life. They are the real deal! You see so many families who fundraise for various things without ever examining their own lives to see where they could sacrifice. Brian and Carrie sacrifice SO willingly! Over the years I've watched them go without, sell pretty much everything they own, and they have done it all with such happiness knowing that in doing so, they are carrying out Christ's plan for the orphan and for their family. This family amazes me daily by saying yes, when so many others would say no. Can't wait to see them with all 6 of their babies!!!

  7. This is my sister and brother-in-law and they know the meaning of true unconditional love. You are both inspiring in ways you'll never know. If you can donate even $1 it will be such a significant blessing to the adoption cause, and a worthy one at that. Love you both! ~ Connie

  8. I have had the Wood's for over six years. Even though we never see each other anymore. We still know what amazing, generous, loving, wonderful people they are. What a wonderful video! Can't wait to see Baby K and Baby L!

  10. It was a pleasure to have both Carrie and Brian as teachers going through school. They are GREAT parents, and truly wonderful people. I pray that things go smoothly with the whole process, and that the kiddos get home quickly. I cannot wait to see the pictures, and the smiles on the faces of both of these wonderful parents!
